Growing Together: Celebrating 40 Years of Leeton Early Learning Centre

Featuring artwork created by children attending LELC, the exhibition will showcase the creativity, imagination and unique perspectives of young learners while highlighting the important role early childhood education plays in supporting children's development and wellbeing. Originally opened as the Leeton Child Care Centre on 12 June 1986 by Noel Hicks, the service has supported generations of local families over the past four decades. The Centre was renamed the Leeton Early Learning Centre in 2007, reflecting the evolving role of early childhood education and the importance of learning in children's formative years. The exhibition will also include a collection of historical photographs and memories from the Centre's 40-year history, providing visitors with an opportunity to reflect on the many children, families, educators and community members who have been part of its journey.
